The Vandy Vaporizer Jackaroo is a vaporizer that comes in two models: the Pocketager and the Mega Vaporizer. I’m a bit of a Jackaroo fan, so I decided to review the two models side by side to see which one I’d recommend. Here’s what I found. I’ll compare the Vandy Vaporizer Jackaroo to the more common vaporizers like the Geekvape Aegis Boost, Pax vaporizer, and the Cool Vaporizer. The purpose of this article is to help prospective vapers choose the best vaporizer for them.
Both the Vandy Vaporizer Jackaroo and the AEGIS Boost have a similar feature set. The Jackaroo pod system is an IP67 dustproof, waterproof, and shockproof vaporizer with a side design that looks remarkably similar to the Aegis Boost. It also features a 2021 mah battery, variable airflow, and variable power output up to seventy-five watts. Unlike some other vaporizers, however, it does not have a touch-screen menu. Instead, you get started by turning on the power button and turning the power dial to set the temperature levels you want your Vandy Vaporizer Jackaroo to operate at.
One of the biggest differences between the Jackaroo and the AEGIS is that it does not have a battery door. Because it does not have a battery door, it can be taken on airplane flights and used as a portable vaporizer while still keeping it cool to the touch. This is a feature I highly appreciate. I also really like the ease of charging this unit. It features a standard electrical plug that connects to a standard wall outlet. This allows you to charge the AEGIS Boost without hassle or worry because there is no battery door to deal with.
The AEGIS line of units includes two different models. The first is the Attitude Adjustable Mod that allows you to adjust the temperature of the AEGIS tank to help prevent overheating. The second model is the AEGIS Elite-II, which includes a larger display panel with more information than the Attitude Adjustable Mod. The AEGIS Elite-I has a firing rate of three hundred percent and an accurate firing rate range of one hundred sixty to five hundred percent.
The Vandy Vape Jackaroo does include a built in, rechargeable battery but you must use a separate mod cord to charge it. This is odd since the Vandy Vaporizer Jackaroo is the only unit in the entire AEGIS line that does not use a mod cord. The AEGIS team claims this design reduces the weight of the unit by approximately two hundred nine grams and also improves the longevity of the batteries. It doesn’t sound like much, but if a two pound reduction from the weight of the entire AEGIS Mod proves to be important to you, then this is certainly worth considering.
One feature that may appeal to many users is the pod system used by Vandy Vape. They are not the same as the pods used in other vaporizers, but they do work. The Vandy Vape Jackaroo has a system where the heating element and the coils are pre-heated before the actual mod is placed in the hand. These pre-heated heating coils reduce the amount of time the user has to heat the coils and increase the battery life.
The AEGIS Elite-I uses a spring loaded firing mechanism while the AEGIS Elite-II uses a ball joint or a T-shaped opening design. This design increases the coil resistance and decreases the temperature variation between sessions. The results are a longer lasting and more reliable mod. The Vandy Vapor Jackaroo Kit comes with a matching ground heater. You can get an enclosure to place your mod inside for protection and prevent overheating.
If you are looking for a quality small box mod then the VandyVape jackaroo series is a good choice. They are well made and are extremely durable. You should be able to enjoy your VandyVape experience for a long time. If you are not ready to spend a lot of money on a high quality mod yet, the aegis series makes a good alternative. It is inexpensive compared to some of the higher quality devices out on the market.
